Jamm cab Test Switch:
Question from Lee: Hi, firstly i would like to say how glad i am that i stumbled across you on youtube, your help and advice is brilliant.
I have a Jamma cab, but it doesnt have connector 15 on the jamma loom wired up, so i can not enter into a test mode.
I can not find a diagram anywere of how to wire a switch (although i am sure it must be simple)
I am ok with soldering etc, but do not want to risk doing this with out the proper info, would you please be able to advise how i can do this?
Look foward to hearing from you.
Kind regards
Lee

Response from Tim: Lee,
you are right its very simple and there are a few ways you can do this. The first one I will recommend is the right way and a permanent fix. All you need to do is get a wire and crimp a molex end on it and insert it into your harness. Here is a great how to guide:
http://www.therealbobroberts.net/crimping.html I will also add this to our video “to do” list because once you see it done its really easy.
The second method would be to bypass the jamma harness and solder it stright to the fingerboard of you main board. I dont recommend it though but for a temporary fix.
Thirdly you could just touch it there and to ground to get into test mode, make you settings and not do any wiring since you dont get into test often you could make your changes and be done.
I hope that helps and is clear enough.
Tim
