First off, thanks for your question and congratulations on owning an arcade. We wish you the best of luck with it and let us know if we can be of any assistance in the future. To answer your question, yes there is a way to install a high resolution (31 kHz) monitor into a low resolution (15 kHz) game but you will have to have a video converter board to do it. Here’s a link to one that you can purchase from jammaboards.com: http://www.jammaboards.com/store/cga/ega/yuv-to-vga-converter-pcb-gbs-8220/prod_291.html. You can also find them on eBay and from some other retailers. This board basically takes the 15kHz signal coming from the board and upconverts it to the 31kHz signal you need. This is assuming that your high resolution monitors have VGA inputs on them. Installing these boards is pretty straight forward but let us know if you need any help.
