Question from Chad: Hi Guys,

I have been watching your videos for a while now and they are great! Thanks!

I got into this arcade obsession after building a mame cabinet. I have had 2 different mame cabs and I have decided to restore a Mario Bros widebody.

When I got the cabinet there was vertical collapse, and broken pots. That was easy. The monitor is fixed now and has been solid with the double dragon board that came in the Mario.

I bought a Mario kit on KLOV that was suppose to be working but when I fired it up, there is no title screen or characters. Text and the levels show up, but that is about it. The screen is upside down, I guess I just need to flip the yoke to fix that.

As for the pcb, I’ve reseated all the chips checked the ribbon cable, and I have tested all voltages at the edge connectors on the filterboard and pcb. Everything voltage related has checked. Any ideas to what I should check? CPU board? Video board?

If you have any ideas I would love to hear them!
