Question from Noah: OK guys I have a HUGE problem.
My name is Noah. I bought a centipede upright arcade cabinet from a local on eBay.
We brought it home powered it up and it worked. then about 2 minutes later a wave came through the monitor like oscillation. It got faster until the screen went blank.
I looked at the monitor it sill had neck glow. I pushed the reset button. Nothing. I then put it in to test mode after restarting. I got errors. the seller ordered the chips after looking at it. 2-3 weeks. It still didn’t work. We’d bought it in July. He then ordered multiple new boards. some showed up crack etc. more time passes. It is now September. still nothing. He offered to give up a street fighter Jamma and the non working centipede. We got them to day. Now the screen shows nothing but yellow back ground with lots of light green garbage like large *’s the mushrooms, the shooter guy, etc. I thought it was the power supply way back in July. now it wont even boot right. Even flipping the test switch dose not do any good. I need some help where do I start. I have no experience but what the internet can provide.
