Response from Jonathan: Marcelo,
The best way to fix this is to trace the wires coming from your harness to make sure they are wired to the correct locations on your control panel. I believe that Double Dragon III is a JAMMA game which means it uses the standard JAMMA pinouts. Print a copy of these pinouts and then follow all of the control panel wires from the harness (where the board connects) to where they connect on your control panel. If a wire connected to the wrong direction or button, remove it and solder it or connect it to the right location. This might be a somewhat tedious process but it’s the only way to guarantee that the wires are connected properly.
Thank you for your question and good luck with your repair.
