Two machines
Question: I have two machines I am looking into fixing myself and just had a few questions.
I have never done any arcade work before but am proficient with electronics as far as hardware and components go.
The first is a space shuttle pinball machine the issue is that the balls will not feed when a new game is started and i basically need to know how to troubleshoot it to figure out what is wrong.
The second is I have a Centipede machine and the monitor has been wavy/scrolling and just recently it has started leaving about 2 inches of black space on either side of the picture. Not cutting anything out just shrinking. What could be the cause and how would I fix it?

Response from Tim: Look at the solenoid that kicks the ball over and make sure it moves easitly and the wiring is still soldered on for starters with the space shuttle.
Your centipede could be experiencing some capacitor failure unless you have messed with the adjustments and caused it to shrink. A cap kit would be a great placed to start
