Question from Mike: Ok….so I think I figured out my issue but I need your help to confirm. I purchased a new power supply for my open ice cabinet I’m turning into an nba jam. I took off the connections on the old power supply and put them on the same terminals on the new power supply, but when I turn the cabinet on the marquee lights up and the screen turns on but then the light on the power supply goes out and so does the coin lighting, but the marquee and screen stay on. All the while the board never fires up….could the new power supply be the problem?? Oh yah, I forgot to mention that the first time I plugged in the new power supply I failed to notice it was set on 220 (because it came from japan and I’m an idiot for not noticing) so when I fired it up my board started sparking and smoking and I blew my board as well as a few fuses. But since then I’ve replaced the fuses and the board. Could my power supply have gone bad due to this? I’m thinking the light should stay on, on the power supply….shouldn’t it. Anyways, any help would be appreciated. Thx 🙂 Mike.
