Light gun problem

Question from Tyler: Sorry if this isn’t the place to do this, but I’m finding it hard to find help for arcade repair on the internet.

I have a Sammy Wing Shooting championship game that will ONLY shoot the middle of the screen. I’ve tried 4-5 different light guns that I know work on other machines. It does this to both left and right guns. I’ve also tried switching up how the wires connect to the board in hopes that it would help but I get nothing.

I’m a repairman, but I work on consoles and very rarley work on arcade machines. I have the skills just not the knowledge.
