Question from Keith: I recently went to look at a Ms Pac Man/Galaga Class of 81 machine and the monitor had a strange issue. On the right hand side of the screen the characters and maze were normal size but as the character made its way left it would become smaller in size. The person selling the machine told me it is an issue with a part called a calibrator. Is this a real part? Is this easy to repair? The person selling the machine said it would cost around 150 to repair does that correct? Also is this a repair i can perform myself? Any help is greatly Appreciated! Thanks, Keith

Update: I have spoken again to the person selling the machine and they told me its the small capacitor that’s bad. I think this sounds vague since I’ve seen several videos showing cap kits containing as much as 15 caps to replace. Thanks again!
