Question from Clay: Hey guys. First off, I would like to say that you guys are great with supplying information to us about arcade machines and such. Like many others that have come to you, I have a question. First off, I think it would be important to let you know what I’m working with. I have a 1989 WWF Superstars Arcade machine. The machine works great and so does the monitor; however, when the machine is turned off you can see a burned image. This doesn’t show up when I’m playing but I would like to replace it in the near future. I was looking at a site that sells replacement CRT’s that are brand new. I would need a 19 inch monitor which they have. It looks like they just sell the tube and my question is: can I just take out the old tube without taking off the mount and slide the new one in? Obviously, I would have to take off the chassis but would that work or do you recommend buying a monitor with a mount already attached? Thanks, Clay
