Question from Bill: Hey there. I wanted to say I really appreciate what you have done with the Video Series. I recently traded one of my machines to a friend, (A Silent Scope EX Deluxe w/ the 38″ monitor) — a few days after playing it the monitor no longer comes on. We checked fuses, they all seem fine. Also, we see the game has loaded in the scope of the gun, so I know the game has booted. The chassis has a very light clicking noise. (Very feint) – -maybe like a relay tick). I went to his house today to help him remove the chassis from the cabinet but I’m looking for someone that can repair that board, assuming that is where the issue is. Is that something you guys still do, / if so how do we go about getting the chassis to you and getting you paid for your services?

Response from Jonathan: Bill,

Unfortunately we are not taking any mail-in monitor repairs at this time but we do have several people we recommend. Chad at arcadecup.com is a very reputable guy and has a pretty fast turn around time. You could also contact our friend Arthur at highscoresrepair.com. He has answered several questions on our Facebook page in the past and definitely knows what he’s doing. There is a list of additional monitor repair technicians on our resources page under the Monitor Repair Services & Information heading as well.

Hope that helps. Thank you for your question and good luck with your repair.
