I really need help.

Question: Hey mate, my name is Matt and I’m from Australia. I really need help. I have this monitor and I finally bought a chassis for it two weeks ago after waiting and trying to find one for almost a year after buying the arcade cabinet and fixing everything else. Please see the attached pictures of the chassis.

So now I finally got what I need but I don’t know how to hook it up to my JAMMA harness. The plug on the JAMMA harness doesn’t connect to any part on the chassis that I can see. I’m so frustrated and lost and I just don’t know what to do. All I want to do is play games on my cabinet but I just don’t know how to hook anything up. I’m just at the point now where I just want to get rid of this cabinet as I can’t play anything on it and it’s taking up too much space. I want to keep it and get it running so I can play games. I put so much time and money into this cabinet rewiring and sourcing parts for it. I just need help.

Response from Jonathan: Matt,

Ok, let’s see what we have here. It looks like a Nanao MS8-26A chassis that was repaired by Jomac at some point. Believe it or not, we’ve actually had several people ask this same question so don’t feel bad. I have attached two pictures of the Nanao MS8 chassis and put a box around the monitor input connector. This is where the video wires from your harness need to be connected.

There is a possibility that the connector on the monitor chassis and the one that’s currently attached to your JAMMA harness may not match. If this is the case, you’ll need to locate a connector for this monitor and wire it up. We recommend contacting either the people you bought the monitor chassis from or Jomac to see if they can supply you with a compatible monitor input connector. If not, you might be able to track one down online from Great Plains Electronics or another site.

Hope that helps. Thank you for your question and good luck with your repair.
