Question?

Question from John: I ordered that conversion board but the cords that come with it have different ends. I saw in another video of yours that you just have to combine some of them but I’m wondering which ones I need to do that with. Thanks.

Response from Jonathan: John,

What you will need to do is map the wires coming from your harness to where the wires should connect on your converter board. We usually accomplish this by cutting off the original monitor connectors and splicing those wires into the connector that came with the converter board. You will need the pinouts of the board that’s currently in your game in order to determine the different video wires (video red, video green video blue, video sync, video ground, etc.) and which wire on the converter connector they should go to. We like to temporarily connect these wires together using wire nuts and then connect, solder and use heat shrink on them to create a more permanent connection once we have tested it and know it works. Once you do those steps, you should be good to go.

Hope that helps. Thank you for your question and good luck with your repair.
