Mortal Kombat cabinet c-13234-40025
Question: Hello, I am looking at a c-13234-40025 Mortal Kombat cabinet that keeps restarting right after the Midway splash screen. It flashes Mortal Kombat, plays the first sound then goes back to the ROM testing screen. I’m not sure if this is important but it says that the ROM test is successful though u90 through u94 show up differently colored from the rest of the tabs.

Response from Jonathan: Sounds like you might be having some power supply issues with your Mortal Kombat arcade cabinet. Mortal Kombat boards are VERY picky when it comes to the DC voltages they receive from the switching power supply. With that said, it’s a good idea to turn your power supply up just a bit more than what is recommended (i.e. around 5.1 VDC on the +5 VDC line) as it might help with your issue.
