Qbert gameplay issues
Question from Ben: Every once in a while the characters in play on my Qbert cabinet get messed up and show up as letters or blocks while random graphics also sometimes appear. Any guesses on what the fix is here? Thanks in advance! Ben

It’s a good idea to start off this repair by reviewing our post on Inspecting An Arcade board as we give some great information on how to solve board issues like this one. One of the tips in particular talks about removing, cleaning and reseating the chips on the board. This can solve a lot of small board issues such as the one you are experiencing. There’s also a great Qbert troubleshooting guide on the Textfiles website that you might check out. It has a great chart that can tell you which chips may be causing your issues based on the symptoms you are experiencing.
