Atari Monitor Question
Question from Rich: Hi. Question: I’ve got an Atari Missile Command cocktail with the 14-inch Sanyo monitor. I don’t see any videos on this monitor. Atari also used a Matsushita 14-inch for some of their cocktails as well. Would you know any videos that these CRTs at least are close to resembling. Thank you, trying to get myself involved. Of course, I’m using an isolation transformer. Thank you very much. Rich

Unfortunately, we don’t know of any videos that cover this monitor specifically. It looks like there is a manual online (https://www.arcade-museum.com/manuals-monitors/sanyo-14atari.pdf) that has a bunch of great information including where the adjustments are located, voltage/signal test points, troubleshooting/repair techniques, and a schematic. That should be enough information to at least get you going in the right direction on the repair. If you have any specific questions, please let us know and we’ll try to help you out further.
