Auto detect/entering sleep mode

Question: Hey there, my buddy picked up an arcade machine that is running a 412-in-1 JAMMA. It is a “game elf” board. It will turn on, show the boot screen and show autodetect analog input on the screen. After a few seconds, it gives him an “entering power save mode” and then the screen will enter power save mode. I am headed over to his place tomorrow to take a look at it. I have a pretty strong background in building PC stuff, but a second opinion is always a huge help! Any idea what could be causing it?

Response from Jonathan: You might check that dip switch 1 is set to the ON position for VGA mode. This will also occur if the power supply is not sending the correct voltage to the board so make sure your voltage is good as well. Other than that, it’s probably a board issue of some sort. It could be a problem with the board itself or the SD card. Hope that helps.
