Super Pacman Question
Question from Stephen: Hey Guys,
Just wanted to drop you a line and tell you that I love what you are doing and your posts and videos have helped me in numerous ways!
I recently purchased 11 broken classic Arcade Games and was able to fix some of them up and sell them with your help.
One game I had working however (SUPER PACMAN) suddenly went into the test mode screen where it says that all the Ram and Rom are great as well as all of the sounds work. I try switching the black switch from test mode back to regular play mode and nothing seems to happen. Is there a trick involved here to get it back to play mode or am I missing something? I’ve tried turning the game off several times and also pushing different buttons but nothing seems to get me back to the original play screen.
I was actually playing the game and turned the game off and when I turned it back on it was in test mode.
Any hints as to what may be going on here?
Thanks Guys, I appreciate all the help you give!
Stephen

Response from Tim: I have a lot of info on pac boards and the only thing I can find is to change IC4L could be the culprit. One thing you can try is to change a few dip switch settings with the game off and then turn them back on and see if that unlocks it. Especially swich 7 and 8. Here they are if you dont have them.

If that doesn’t work please let me know. My friend Matt is a pac man board genius and I can ask him.
Good luck with your games…..take some pics of your score if you can and post on the facebook page:)
