Unfortunately there is not a straight forward answer to your problem. It really depends on what kind of multi game console you have. Many multi game consoles are highly customized PCs that run computer programs that emulate arcade games. There are many ways that these can be configured so it’s hard to determine exactly what the problem could be.

With that said, you might just want to make sure that the push buttons themselves are still working. Check out our post on Wiring A Push Button for more information. Make sure that the wiring is connected like we discuss in the post and that the switch part of the microswitch is being pushed when the button is pressed.

If you need additional help, you might send us some pictures of your arcade cabinet to see if we can determine what kind of multi game console you have. You can also try contacting the person you bought the cabinet from to see if they have any ideas of what happened when the buttons were pressed simultaneously. Hope that helps.
