If the coin mod button, test mode button and the coin mech switches do not work and they are all located in the same area of your cabinet then it could be an issue with a broken ground wire. Check out our post on Connecting Ground Wires On A Control Panel for more information. Even though your issue isn’t necessarily related to the control panel, the concept is the same. Many times multiple buttons or switches will share the same ground and if this wire breaks for some reason then it can cause everything past the break to stop working. We highly recommend checking your ground wires and the switch wires coming from your harness to make sure everything is making a good connection. Hopefully this will solve your issue.
