1982 Ms. Pacman Bootleg Pinouts
Question from Chris: Greetings, Would you create a video on how to identify bootleg arcade boards? In my specific case I am trying to find the pinouts for a 1982 Ms. Pacman board with a 22pin input, and I am having a heck of a time finding it for my restoration project. I figure maybe it is not online and there may be a way to reverse engineer or identify the board that I am not aware of, and maybe you could help. Keep up the good work! ~C

Response from Jonathan: Chris,
We do have a video on Recognizing Bootleg Boards on our Volume 4 DVD which can be purchased from our online store. Here’s a link: http://www.arcaderepairtips.com/store/#ARTDVD4
With that said, I’m not sure that this video would help you out with your particular issue as we really don’t discuss pinouts in it. MikesArcade has the pinouts for at least 2 different Ms. Pac bootleg board sets on their website. There is information about how to identify the board that the pinouts go with on each pinout page. Here are the links to their Ms. Pac Man bootleg pinouts:
Ms. Pac 1/ Pac 2 Bootleg pinouts: https://www.mikesarcade.com/cgi-bin/spies.cgi?action=url&type=pinout&page=MsPac2.html
Ms. Pac 3 Bootleg pinouts: https://www.mikesarcade.com/cgi-bin/spies.cgi?action=url&type=pinout&page=MsPac3.html
If these pinouts don’t work for you, you might send us a picture or video of your board so we can help you identify it. You can send pictures and links to questions@arcaderepairtips.com.
Hope that helps. Thank you for your question and good luck with your repair.
