Question from Brian: Your videos are awesome.
Looking for help on how to fix vertical lines on my street fighter arcade.
The vertical lines are only on the background scene and not through the characters.
Im hoping its loose wires or something. Just don’t know where to look. Im a beginner. Just started into purchasing and trying to fix up arcades.

If the lines that you are describing are thin, white lines then you might need to turn the brightness down on your monitor. Check out our post on Adjusting An Arcade Monitor for more information.
If the lines are thick lines that looks like parts of graphics in the game then you might have a board issue. You could try pressing the two boards together that compose your Street Fighter board. You could also try pressing on the socketed chips to see if they are making a good connection. Check out our post on Inspecting An Arcade Board for more things you can do to get your board working. If you try all of this and your board still has issues then you might need to buy a new board.
