Response from Jonathan: Mike,
Clicking noises and no neck glow usually indicate a problem with your high voltage. Your monitor is more commonly known as a D9200 which is known to have HOT issues. I would replace that and do a cap kit (while I’m working on it anyway). This should solve the issue. I believe the reference number on the HOT is Q425-C4770 (2SC4770). I believe you can use a NTE Electronics 2324 as a replacement if you can’t find an actual C4770.
