Question from Steve: Hello,

I’ve seen your Youtube video on monitor chassis removal; it’s pretty much my guideline helping me to change out a failing flyback transformer in my Gauntlet Legends arcade machine. I understand the part about discharging the CRT to chassis ground to remove the anode, my question is this:

1)is there a risk of shock when reconnecting the anode to the CRT? And…

2)how does the anode go back on – does it just push into place, and the little metal clips just push in and lock the anode into the CRT? Or is there some special way you have to reinsert the anode? Hopefully that question made sense…..

Also on a side note: I have an After Burner Deluxe cab; with such an old machine, parts are extremely hard to come by. I’ve found a few parts here and there on eBay, and I’ve posted to various arcade forums in the “want to buyâ€ sections and such. Do you have any suggestions on other avenues/sources that may have replacement parts somewhere for my machine? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
