Question from Jim: Hello,

I just found your site and found very informative. I do have a question that currently has me a bit perplexed. I have a Midway Bosconian Cocktail style video game machine that was in good working order. It has been several years since I had last powered it on, and it now powers up fine, sound is fine, and plays fine, but the video will “glitchâ€ sporadically every 5 – 30 seconds for about a ¼ second. Video in general is good, colors good, stability good, brightness good, but will just glitch (blink off and then right back on). The video glitch is just long enough to notice and be a problem in play. With it the machine opened, I can hear the faintest click at the same time as the glitch, but have not been able to identify where it is coming from. Everything seems to check fine, but nothing like random, intermittent glitches for a head scratcher. Any ideas of what may be the root cause for the video glitches.
