Question from Ty: Hello, I was wondering if I could ask you guys for a little help. I’m looking to get a Gottlieb 2001 pinball machine in need of restoration. The graphics on the back glass are in poor shape and I was wondering if you could guide me on how I should approach the restoration and/ or where I could get new graphics and parts for such a machine. I’ve looked around and the tune up kits are readily available, but past that I’m not seeing too much for that machine. Any help would be appreciated. Keep up the great work!

I do not know of anyone reproducing the backglass so finding a replacement one off a used game or repainting yours is probably your only option. We use watercolor paints and paint it from behind. If you mess up you just wipe it off with water….its also easier to color match. Once you are done you can spray it with clear coat to help keep it from peeling or washing off.
