Question from James: Hello there, I am new to arcade game repair and I need a little help with a small problem I am having. So I just got this War Final Assault cabinet for free because it didn’t turn on. I replaced the IEC cable and now it boots up, but the monitor never turns on. Poking around inside, I found a 3-lead wiring harness that isn’t connected to anything near the power supply. I’m assuming it’s to power the monitor. I followed that wiring harness down to the bottom near the transformer block where it ends, but the harness isn’t hooked up to anything on the transformer, and I can’t find any place to plug it in. There is an iec-female looking jack on the side of the transformer that isn’t in use, but it’d need an adapter of some sort for it to fit. Here’s another video. I tried to follow the wires down from the monitor to the power supply where it isn’t plugged in to anything. I tried to get a detailed shot of the transformer too. Hope this helps. Thanks!
