Help with alien 3 the gun machine
Question from Nick: Hi mate. I had a few questions about an arcade game I just bought: Alien 3 The Gun. I got it off a bloke who hadn’t used it for some time. It wasn’t working when I got it so we are trying to get it working. It seems a lot of wires are not connected. We have used the manual to put together what we can, but are unsure where the main loom goes, as we are assuming this is the problem. Any chance u can help?

Unfortunately we’re not too familiar with this game specifically but it seems to be a JAMMA game from looking at the manual. I assume that this means that the main loom you are referring to is the JAMMA harness. JAMMA harnesses usually attach directly to the edge of the main board via a series of pins. Check out our post on Getting Familiar With The JAMMA Standard for more information. In this post, we show how a JAMMA harness attaches to the pins on the edge of the board.
