Help with installing lcd monitor in a jamma cockt
Question from Nicole: Hi,
I found you youtube videos recently and am building a jamma cocktail cabinet with my family. However I can’t find a good explanation on how you wire in a lcd computer monitor on your site.
I see you installed a new junction box in the cabinet towards the end of this video, at about the 12:31 mark it can be seen in the cabinet.
If you have a video explaining how you do this please send me a link in case I missed it. If you haven’t made a video detailing it, please do as I really enjoy your in depth explanations on arcade repair and it would help me out a lot.

We usually build something like this to go inside the cabinet: http://home-building.wonderhowto.com/how-to/hate-ugly-looking-power-strips-make-sleek-diy-power-outlet-box-for-your-desktop-0141840/. Of course, our build is a bit different than this one. We usually wire a power switch between the power cord and the box so we can control the flow of electricity. We also tend to use a box that holds 2 wall outlets giving us a total of 4 sockets to plug in to. If you get the right electrical box, you can pretty much mount it anywhere.
