hi Im missing a one primary colour on my Sanwa /

Question from Craig: Hi. I’m missing a one primary colour on my Sanwa / Sega PM174529″ 15-25k monitor. I doubt its the tube tried all of the adjustments on chassis checked all rgb wiring and connections to jamma board. When I pull up the test option to check the colours, its missing blue. All other colours are there. It connects in to a jamma cabinet for a four player warzaid. Any ideas. Regards, Craig

Response from Jonathan: Craig,

Sounds like you are having a problem with your monitor chassis. Try checking the pins where the connector from the board connects to the monitor chassis. It could be that the pin where the blue connects is loose and needs some fresh solder on it. There should also be some potentiometers on the neck board that control color adjustment. You could have some cold solder around your blue cutoff or blue drive pot. You might try applying some fresh solder there as well.
