I think I need a new flyback transformer

I have an NBA JAM machine with audio, but no video. I watched your “…Games That Are Playing Blind” video, and I got the same electric arc you guys got.
I think I need a new flyback transformer.
I was hoping you guys had spares that would fit this machine for sale, or wondered if you offer repair service.
I’d pack it up nicely and send it to you guys if you could fix it.
Any idea on what my next move should be?

Yes, it does sound like you need a new flyback transformer. It looks like you have a Wells Gardner K7000 monitor chassis. If you would like to verify this, you can go to the What’s My Monitor page on Bob Roberts site (http://www.therealbobroberts.net/monitor.html) and compare your monitor chassis to the pictures. Bob also sells parts and should offer a replacement flyback for your monitor.
We would encourage you to try this repair yourself as it’s a fairly simple process. Our Volume 2 DVD has a video on it regarding this specific repair. You can order it from our online store at http://www.arcaderepairtips.com/store/
