Question from Scott: Hello, found your website thru Holland Computers. Love the information from your videos. Thank you so much for doing it. So, here is my question. I am gutting a Donkey Kong Jr. upright cabinet from an arcade as it is not working. I am replacing the monitor, power supply, and controls from kits / parts from Holland Computers. I want to purchase a good 60-in-1 Multicade PCB but there are so many out there with positive and negative comments I don’t know what to choose. So, I ask you, please, can you give me a recommendation on a good quality 60-in-1 JAMMA PCB with Donkey Kong and other classic games? Please! What would you buy if it is yours? Thanks in advance! I appreciate any help I can get. Thanks in advance, Scott
Response from Jonathan: Scott,
So, there’s only really one 60-in-1 board. All of them play the same games. You can find the games list here: http://www.ownyourownarcadegame.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/60-in-1-list.pdf. You may see different manufacturers or distributors associated with them but they are really all the same. With that said, there are some different revisions of the board but we’ve found that the revision doesn’t matter too much as long as the board works properly when you get it. We do recommend buying from a reputable seller than has good reviews and a good return policy. There are several sellers on Amazon and eBay that sell these boards. For example, here’s a listing of some of the 60-in-1 boards on Amazon: https://amzn.to/2Eh2Rjl. In short, it doesn’t matter who you buy from just make sure that their feedback is good and you should be in good shape. Hope that helps.
