Question from Gary: I’m a new collector and I got lucky and stumbled on to your podcast. I am learning so much from you guys. I picked up an Area 51 cabinet for 25$ not working. I listened to your podcast and went through all the steps. It wound up having a bad power supply and the hard drive power was unplugged. I now have a working Area 51 game for under 100$. Area 51 was my favorite game growing up and now I own it.
Repair question: I have an Atari Road Burners and for some reason the motor cycle is turning hard left all the time. I’m trying to figure out how to straighten him out. Where do I begin my search? If you need more info let me know. Thank you guys so much for doing what you do.
Thanks much,
Gary from Small Town Indiana.

Response from Jonathan: Gary,
Awesome! We love to hear stories like that! Also, thanks for the encouragement. We’re always glad when people find our content useful.
As for your question, it sounds like you may have some trouble with the steering pot. Probably best to replace it. Suzo/Happ sells them for around $35 or so. While it’s kind of expensive for a pot, you should get quite a lot of play out of it before you need to replace it again.
Hope that helps. Thank you for your question and good luck with your repair.
