Question from Matt: Howdy All!
I recently picked up a working Ms. PacMan Full Upright and a used to work, what I thought and was sold, Lethal Enforcers. After spending a few hours today doing as much research as I could, and video watching from y’alls YouTube site as I could, I have come to find out that it is not what I was lead to believe it to be.
Now, I say that, because in part it is true. The PCB is a Konami Lethal Enforcers PCB, and there is a couple pieces of front cabinet artwork to magically make this that game; however, I made note of the Atari stickers on the back of the CAB. The serial# is 29564. I tried looking this up on Google, and the best I could find was that this was something like a testing cabinet or developer cabinet according to the number series.
Anyhow, I have attached a few pictures and can take and attach as many as needed for y’all to do what you can to help me do a couple things. One, it would be nice to identify the original game cabinet this was, but second, I would like to get the Lethal Enforcers PCB working. I followed your video on replacing the power cord to have the 3 prong instead of the original 2 prong it came with. That was successful. Before and after, I was able to do a multimeter test on the cable and found it to be getting ~121 VAC. I have tested all 6 of the fuses and they beep just like in the video. I have a multimeter kit that came with a voltage detector (I think that is right) and I can put it up to the power lead on the AC side and I get tone. Same in a couple other spots. What I don’t know, is, what is this thing sitting in the bottom of the cabinet with the 6 fuses in it? This is where my AC power is running to. Now, from my understanding, the switching power supply is the black box on the right in my photos with the green led light and the adjustment knob with the 8 different wire terminals, do I have that right? Well, it never comes on. There is something happening from when the AC goes into the box on the bottom and then tries to go out from there. I don’t think it’s going to far or maybe the switching power supply is bad?
I guess it goes without saying that there are no Marque lights coming on, no sound, no monitor, nothing. I also think the florescent light is bad, so I will look for another one of those soon. Nothing on the coin box either. I guess all that is normal considering that my power supply is not getting power?

I just started this as my new hobby this Saturday. I am disabled, and unable to work outside my home, and for some strange reason, I though that collecting and working on these two Arcades would be fun. Ha. So far, it has been. I plan on adding the JAMMA 60 in 1 Ms.PacMan conversion kit to my Ms.PacMan machine soon so the kids can play many more games.
