Question from Rik: Hi there. I just found your site and you mentioned breaking and entering as one of your specialities! I have a universal cocktail cabinet Space Panic. When i bought it, it was slightly ‘intermittent.’ In other words, sometimes the screen showed a load of rubbish and you had to turn it off and back on again maybe a couple of times. Now, since I moved houses, even after trying several times I never got back to the proper screen. Also, a loud buzz got stuck on the speaker. What is worse is that I have discovered I lost the key. It opened both the cash box and the unit itself. I cannot find a video about getting in. Is there a way that i can do this without damaging the key (it’s round like a bike lock key)? Also, a friend said perhaps I should hoover the inside out whilst using a soft brush. He said that’s a good place to start with old circuits as loads of dust can cause the power to arc. I also heard you have to be careful doing this because of static. I live in Brighton, UK so obviously can’t bring you the machine to look at but i’d really appreciate any help you can give me online.
