MK1 buttons stop working
Question from John: I have an MK1 machine. Sometimes the buttons work perfect, other times they stop mid game. I leave the machine off for a few days then the same thing happens. Sometimes I can get through an entire game fine, other times the buttons will just stop working. Any ideas why this is happening?

If all of your buttons stop working at once, you probably a short somewhere in your grounding wires. Ground wires are usually daisy chained to between the individual buttons. If there is a break (or short in your case) anywhere in the chain it can cause all of the buttons that are connected after that break to stop working.
