MK2 Arcade Question
Question from Andy: Hello, I had a question on using the multimeter on the PCB for voltage reading. I’m trying to find out the voltage on the PCB using the black prong on a PCB screw and the red prong on a PCB chip. The game will automatically reset when trying to test the voltage. Am I doing something wrong? Any information is much appreciated. Thanks, Andy

This is unusual. The game should not reset when you are checking the voltage this way. Make sure that your red probe is only touching the correct pin on the chip that you are trying to check the voltage on. Checking an incorrect pin or accidently touching two pins together with your red probe can cause a short which might cause the reset symptom you are describing. If you need additional help on this issue, you might send us some pictures of the chip along with the type of chip you are trying to check and we’ll try to help you out further. Hope that helps.
