Monitor green
Question from Dan: Hi, I just swapped out the chassis on a k7000 25″ monitor and the whole screen is green. I can see some faint movement of figures. I turned all the knobs with little significant change. The picture was perfect until I had a short at the point where the four pin plug from the monitor plugs in. Dan

Response from Jonathan: Dan,
Typically issues like this are similar to missing color issue. Check out our post on Checking A Monitor Tube for more information on color issues. With that said, we recommend checking out the color drive transistors on the neck board (Q201, Q202, Q203) as well as the transistors on the main chassis (Q1, Q2, Q3). If all of these transistors are working properly, then you may need to replace IC1 as well. Please let us know if you continue to have issues after checking all of these areas.
Hope that helps. Thank you for your question and good luck with your repair.
