The problem you are experiencing sounds like the infamous Electrohome G07 monitor curl problem. Of course, it’s really hard to troubleshoot without actually seeing the issue. You might send us some pictures so we can make sure that this is indeed the problem.

With that said, there is a fix for the Electrohome G07 monitor curl issue. Our friend Bob Roberts has an article on his website that discusses the steps to fix it. Here’s a link: http://www.therealbobroberts.net/g07notes.html. You’ll notice that the very first paragraph on the page talks about a problem that sounds similar to yours. Of course, this fix will only work if you have an Electrohome G07 monitor chassis in your game. You can determine this by going to the What’s My Monitor page on Bob’s site and comparing your chassis to the chassis pictures on that page.
