Monitor problems
Question from Rob: Hello!
I have a Mortal Kombat 2 cabinet and I am having some monitor troubles. During gameplay, I have to constantly adjust the focus on the monitor. One minute it will be beautiful and the next it gets really blurry. If you just let it go, it will go back and forth: blurry to crisp, crisp to blurry. Also, during gameplay, it looks as if the picture on the screen wants to turn off. It’s like the monitor almost wants to turn off. It’s kind of hard to explain. Could there be a loose connection somewhere or do I need a new monitor? What does a monitor do when it is going bad? Please help! Thanks.

Response from Tim: Sounds like you need a new flyback. Its prob not a loose connection, but you could refresh the solder on the underside of it that might help.
The flyback is the black thing you should be adjusting the focus on. It has a wire with a suction cup coming ouf of the top of it.
