Monitor question
Question from Brad: I am sure that you get many questions like mine. I am new to arcade games and have a question about my monitor. I have a Golden Tee Golf 1999 game and the game starts up and the monitor has good color except for the 4 thick vertical yellow lines in the monitor. Also any text comes up all “blocky” so that it is unreadable.
From watching your videos and doing research online I am still lost. Do you think this is a cap problem? I have bought all of the tools that you suggest and am ready to get down and dirty with fixing arcades. Any information that you can provide me would be very helpful.

Response from Tim: Can you get into a test menu? Maybe a board problem not monitor. Do you happen to have another jamma board or game?
Unplug the board and turn up the brightness and see if there are any lines in your monitor without your board hooked up.
