Question from Rob: Iv worked on many arcades but never the monitor portion .only pcb’s Iv developed in interest in your YouTube information.
Iv got a few questions..

Iv got a monitor with one blue colored line through the monitor . the fly back seems to be not attached to the tub and makes a cracking noise. I wasn’t sure if i push it it if it would work. Nor do i want to get killed from the voltage. Also iv tried to adjust the picture but it only moves slightly on the screen.. Any suggestion.

Iv got another one. its a Asteriods.. Game works but the screen was only showing half .. well when i disconnected it to open up back door ( had to change the lock.)
Now i get no screen and the cassis light goes out when i plug in the power.. after a few times trying to figure out if it had just been a worn connection . now i get nothing..
Game pc board now doesnt come on.. and i changed all the fuses.. prier to this..the lights on the game pcb and the control panel would blink really fast ..and id unplug it all .. after a few tries reconecting.. now i got nothing.. not sure where to go with this.

the last one i have is a open gold.. i get light on back of chassis but no picture.. chassis board seems ok.. changed all fuses and no picture..

any help you can advise me on would be helpful

Oh last question.. i know you have to de-charge a fly back..but when you replace it.. does it get a charge from the flyback when i put a new one ( or is there a charging method) .. or just install new one and away you go?
