ms pac man 60 in 1 complete kit

Question from Jay: I am thinking of upgrading an original Ms. Pac Man upright game with the 60-in-1 complete kit from JAMMAboards.com. I have watched your video couple of times and it seems straight forward and not too complicated. Problem is that I cannot find exactly what you used for the 60-in-1 complete kit. JAMMAboards.com has been down. Where can I buy the complete kit? Any ideas or advice?

Thanks,
Jay

Response from Jonathan: Jay,

Unfortunately JAMMAboards.com owner Tim Hensel passed away recently and the store has been closed ever since his death. At this point, we do not know if his family plans on reopening the store or not. We would ask that you keep his family in your thoughts and prayers as they go through this difficult time.

With that said, Arcadeshop also sells most of the items needed to accomplish this upgrade but it’s not in the nice, neat package that JAMMAboards.com offered. You will need to order a the Ms. Pac/Pac-Man Cabinet to JAMMA PCB Adapter and a 15 Amp Switching Power Supply from Arcadeshop and then order a 60-in-1 board and some wire from one of the other retailers listed on our resources page under the Arcade Parts Suppliers & Distributors heading.

Unlike the JAMMAboards.com version of this adapter which had a nice place to plug in a 4-pin power supply Molex connector, the Arcadeshop adapter will require you to solder some voltage wires (hence the need for some additional wire) from your power supply to the adapter board (which means you will need a soldering iron and some solder as well). This is why we are recommending the standard 15 Amp Switching Power Supply instead of the ATX-type computer style power supply that we use in our video. With these items you should be able to accomplish the multicade upgrade process.

Hope that helps. Thank you for your question and good luck with your future repairs.
