Ms. Pacman 39-in-1
Question from Gary: Hello, I have a 39-in-1 Ms. Pac Man arcade console and I can’t figure out how to get it into play mode from set-up mode. There is a small button and a toggle switch mounted inside which controls set-up and I know they somehow return the game to play mode as well, I just can’t figure out the right combination of switching and button pushing. Any ideas? I really love the console and my nieces, nephews, and grandchildren love to play it when they visit. Thank you in advance for your help. Gary

You are correct. The fact that your 39-in-1 arcade will not switch from test mode into game play mode should have to do with either the button or the toggle switch that you mentioned. You need to make sure that these two buttons are not either being pressed or are in the off position when the game is powered on. Please note that changes to these switches are only checked at power on. Changing the switches while the game is on will probably only toggle you through the test menu and not take you back to game play mode. We recommend trying different combinations of the switch and button, powering off the game and turning it back on to see if it solves your issue.
If you continue to have issues returning to game play mode then you could have a bad button or switch which is constantly in the on position. In this case, it might be a good idea to replace them. You could try cutting the wires that go to the switch and/or button as well to see if this stops the connection as well.
