Unfortunately there are several factors outside of keeping the original power supply that will prevent you from getting the 412-in-1 game elf system to work in your Toobin’ arcade cabinet. For one, Toobin’ uses a medium resolution monitor while the 412-in-1 game elf board only supports either a standard resolution or VGA monitor. This means that even if you are able to hook up the 412-in-1 board to your monitor it will not display correctly (or at all) on the screen. Also, the control panel for Toobin’ does not have standard joystick controls which is what the 412-in-1 board is expecting. While you might be able to hook up the 412-in-1 without a joystick, it will make it very difficult to play most of the game that are available on the board.

Now, you could install two joysticks on your control panel and install a video converter to change the signal to medium resolution but this would require quite a bit of rewiring which would mean that your Toobin’ would no longer be “original.” As you can probably tell, Toobin’ is really not a good candidate for this kind of setup. Your best bet for getting the 412-in-1 board to work is to get a cabinet that has joystick controls and a standard resolution monitor installed. The good news is that most games fall into this category so finding one should be pretty easy. If you can’t find a cabinet like this near you, our friends at Holland Computers sell a cocktail kit that is easy to assemble and is fully compatible with multigame boards such as the 412-in-1 game elf.
