Pacman Monitor Question
Question from Scott: I don’t know if you answer questions, but I thought I would try. I have been searching the web and can’t really find this particular issue. I just got an original Pacman, and the only issue I really have is this monitor issue. As you can see in the picture the screen “bends” or “hourglasses” toward the top and the bottom on the right site.
I also had some color issues, but I degaussed it and that worked great.
The Picture looks great, i just have this distortion or bending.
I’m thinking Cap Kit, but i’m not sure if this will solve it.
If you can point me in the right direction, that would be awesome.

I believe you have an Electrohome G07 monitor chassis if I had to guess. You can verify this by going to the What’s My Monitor page on Bob Roberts site and comparing the photos he has there with your monitor chassis. There are a couple of things you can try to get the curl out. First, we recommend trying to adjust the horizontal frequency potentiometer. If adjusting this pot doesn’t help then you might try the Bob Roberts G07 sync upgrade. You can get the details at this link: http://www.therealbobroberts.net/g07notes.html.
