Response from Jonathan: Paul,

When a game is playing blind, it usually means that there is a problem with the high voltage section of the monitor chassis. Keep in mind that it could be something as simple as the chassis is not getting any voltage to it. So, we recommend starting off this repair by using a multimeter to make sure you are actually getting voltage to the monitor. Once you have confirmed that the correct voltage is getting to the monitor, you can start inspecting the high voltage section of the monitor chassis. This section is usually located around where the power wires connect to the chassis. See if you can find any parts that may look damaged or broken. We also highly recommend checking out our post on Troubleshooting Games That Are Playing Blind for more information on this issue. Please let us know if you continue to have this issue after trying the steps we’ve discussed here and in our post and we’ll try to help you out further.

Hope that helps. Thank you for your question and good luck with your repair.
