Question: I bought a Mechanized Attack machine from a guy the other day that does not work just the screen will light up a greenish tent. ok I first noticed the coin door lights would not light up so apon futher investagation I checked the switching power supply as your post said and I have all the correct voltages when the power supply is not hooked to the board. but when I plug the game board bac up I loose the 5 volt part of the power supply. my game board has 2 lights on it one is for 12 volt the other for 5 volt. I unpluged everything from the board also like the coin switch harness etc to elemenate those being shorted or something to no eval. its the 5 volt part of the system thats shorted I beleave because if I unhook the red lead coming off the powersupply the 12 volt light is bright but when I hook it back up the 12 volt light dims and the 5 volt light will start to come on and go off. does this mean the game board is bad and is unfixable. did I buy a boat ankor. help please.
