Power Supply -5 VDC issue

Question from Ian: Hello, I just purchased Mortal Kombat 3 and I know I need to change my volts to -5 and don’t know how. I tested the power supply and it came back at -4.91. I currently have a Street Fighter 3rd Strike running on it and I have no problems with it. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Your reading of -4.91 on the -5 VDC line on your power supply should be fine. That reading is within the acceptable range of values for the board to work properly. You could be having a problem with the Mortal Kombat 3 board itself. You might try it in another JAMMA cabinet just to test to make sure it is working properly. Hope that helps.
