Response from Tim: Hey I don’t know of a way to wire it up. The sound is in the roms which runs through the board and out the jamma harness so you probably have some bad sound roms. You can try to gently pull them one at a time and clean the legs of the chips good and make sure the top sound board is properly seated. You could also reflow the solder on the back of your sound board especially any that are yellowing or where main connectors go.
As for the wavy pic how far is the power supply from the monitor? I have seen them mounted on the ledge behind the monitor and caused similar issues. If you unplug the game board and just turn on the monitor for a while with a white screen does it get wavy?
good luck with your repair
Tim
